2006 Military Training Technology Online: 100 Top Military Training Companies

2006 Fast Track Award: For the eighth time, Karta earned a place among the "50 Fastest Growing Companies in San Antonio", as determined by surveys conducted by the San Antonio Business Journal.

2006 Top 10 Best Places to Work: Karta was recognized in the Large Business Category as one of the best places to work in San Antonio from surveys conducted by the San Antonio Business Journal.

2003, 2004, 2005 Brandon Hall "Excellence in E-Learning" Award: This award recognizes development of courseware using multimedia and interactive technologies (2004). Karta's implementation of an enterprise-wide distance learning solution garnered Zachry Construction Corporation this prestigious award (2003). Karta's Aeromedical Evacuation Computer-Based/Web-Based Training courseware created for just-in-time training for Air Force medical professionals (2005).

Tibbetts Award: Karta was one of the recipients of the 2002 Tibbetts Awards. Named for Roland Tibbetts, who is acknowledged as the father of the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR), these prestigious national awards are given annually to those small firms, projects, organizations and individuals judged to exemplify the very best in SBIR achievement.

2001 Pinnacle Award for Technology: These prestigious awards are given by the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce to those who demonstrate leadership, vision, innovation and dedication to the San Antonio community. Karta received the award for outstanding achievement in information technology.

Karta's Boiler Maintenance Workstation (BMW) was recognized by the Electric Power Research Institute as one of the "20 greatest achievements" of the past two decades.

Karta has been awarded nine patents.
